Disturbingly cute or just disturbing?

ThinkGeek.com brings us Plush Microbes. Now, on those cold, lonesome nights you can snuggle up with your favorite STD! Or give the gift that keeps on giving! I know I wouldn't mind getting cozy with a couple of extra white blood cells, I already have far too many, what's the harm in a few more! And I'm sure these will behave better than the ones I make on my own.
So tired it hurts, no one to blame but myself. As usual....

Will someone, other than Sarah, get me off of this persisting, albeit nostalgic, Pet Shop Boys kick? And can I just reiterate my love of Ping.fm, Google and bacon. I feel like taking all my clothes off and dancing to the rite of spring and I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing. Please make it stop!! I need help...
Big ups to all my haterz!

It just dawned upon me - only about 13 weeks until graduation. And only about 13 weeks, 6 months until entering a new level of hell - loan repayment!
is going to mmm bop Sarah if she doesn't stop trying to get hideous songs stuck in my head...
thinks Cindy is very interesting.

I want one! Nay, I NEED one...

So I fall prey to the forces of my adult onset ADD regularly - especially when it comes to studying. I am easily distracted by sparkly bits of flotsam and jetsam floating around in the world...This gadget is a step in the right direction, that's for sure. Though, really, I need one for my wandering brain....

Tweets...

I've been using ping.fm to update my SNs, hence the microblogs being posted on my actual blog. I dislike having to login to a zillion places - and it helps that Ping.fm has a mobile site - not like I go anywhere but now I don't have to get off the couch to let everyone know I'm watching Shlong Grinders and Eurosex Sluts (like you thought I'd be watching reruns of Reba and Gunsmoke?)...Ok, so I'm not actually watching any of that - I'm just amused by the shows that come with my digital cable. It's all new to me.

I don't have anything to say. I managed to leave the house last night to share a bottle of wine and some cheese with Tasha...Oh but the most wonderful smell has just coasted through my screen door - someone has a bonfire going and I am envious. What I wouldn't give to be sitting around it right now, mesmerized by the glow, lulled by the crackle, the flames dancing....

I've been having the strangest encounters with people who do not know the Pet Shop Boys....I didn't realize it was possible. I've been listening to them for the last couple of mornings to kick start my day - I didn't know there were so many people who didn't know such classics like West End Girls:

Just a product of the 80's. I can't seem to help myself....

Something else in the random rotation tonight:

wishes Cindy would stop breaking the interwebs.
loves me some soy latte...

Lingering and take cover....

I've got this nasty lingering cough/illness that has spanned over two weeks now. It's causing me to consider using the hose attachment of my Hoover to try and clean out my lungs. My coughing is so violent that I'm convinced my body is actually trying to rid itself of one its lungs....I'm doing as little as possible to conserve my energies and focus what little I have towards work and school...

It scares small children and my coworkers and I feel like hell. I have been through a course of Tamiflu, antibiotics and two rounds of meds for the cough and there has been little improvement. They've tested for flu, strep, mono and a host of other things - all coming up either negative or inconclusive. Though they did find that my platelets are high again - which concerns me. I have to go in for more bloodwork. Sigh...I wish they would just teach me how to do it at home and drop off the vials - it would be so much easier...

Anyway, if you know me, you know I love 80's music (amongst other genres) and I love finding excellent covers of my favorite 80's music - well add this to the list, and they have the added bonus of being German! Enjoy:
